Grupo Marín began commercial activity in 1990 with two machines, a polishing technician, who was the owner, and the greatest enthusiasm to enter the challenging world of entrepreneurship. In the beginning, the company consisted only of Pulimentos Marín, with polishing as its star service.

With constant dedication to a job well done and the highest respect for cleaning worker's work, we added the cleaning service and subsequently tiling and refurbishments to increase the diversity of our services.

From the outset, our objective has been to provide our clients with the highest quality service, and therefore we have put care and effort into carrying out the best work possible. Year after year, we have increased the number of our staff [See evolution]

Some years after creating Pulimentos Marín, in 1995, we joined the polishing companies society, of which we are founder members.

In 2000, we moved to our new facilities, where we have 150 square metres of offices and 250 square metres of industrial area.

In 2004, we received the certification for quality management according to the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000 standard from AENOR (Spanish Association for Standardisation and Certification).

In 2007, we created the company Marín Obras, Reformas y Servicios, and formed Grupo Marín, made up of two companies.

In 2007, the new facilities were finished. These include modern buildings on the industrial estate of Pizarra that provide better facilities for the staff that form Grupo Marín.

Today, the group consists of more than 130 workers, we have 1,300 square metres of industrial facilities and 200 square metres of offices. We use the latest technology in our work, giving us a distinguished position among the companies in the sector at regional level. We run a fleet of 10 vehicles. We operate 27 polishing machines, 15 floor polishers, 30 wet cutting machines, industrial vacuum cleaners, 2 ride-on scrubber dryers, 1 sweeper and 1 carpet cleaning machine, as well as all the necessary equipment for construction.

Grupo Marín is an example that shows that, with tenacity, pride in a job well done, honesty, courage and a bit of luck, a solid company can be built.

Grupo Marín has already moved to the new facilities on the Pizarra industrial estate.

The new facilities are equipped with the latest technology and video surveillance systems. They occupy an area of 1,300 square metres, of which 200 are offices with the rest set aside for industrial activities.
